… I try to carry my idea of art, my possibilities, myself and my sensibility over into my work, and to bring myself into harmony with nature, of which I see myself as a part.

I am always fascinated and influenced by the life and artistic forms of expression of indigenous peoples, in particular the art of Aboriginal Australians. For about 30 years I have been experimenting with large-scale dot compositions, which I experience as a meditative process that shows me new paths in my artistic work.

Aware of the ongoing destruction of our world, I nevertheless try to find positive answers to life with my paintings, sculptures and designed spaces, to make them visible to others, and in doing so I ultimately help myself.
